I’m Janet Johnson, a photographer. I wanted a space where like minded photographers could have a studio available on those cold, wet Minnesota Days or provide studio portraiture. I also knew that some people like to take pictures often, but don’t plan to make wall installations with gallery prints and don’t want to spend a lot. Maybe they are a hobby photographer with a digital camera or a wicked awesome cell phone that just wants to take some photos in a controlled studio environment and have props available to them to use. The joy of photography should be available to everyone.
So Mad Props Studio was born to cater to the professional photographer that needed a space to bring their clients, or the hobbyist who wanted to take their own pictures and possibly needed a little help from an on-site photographer.
